Who We are

  • Serve

Jesus said: "The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." Mark 10:45

Since the name Bethlehem means in Hebrew, "House of Bread," we gather to be served and to serve in response to God's love. God serves us His Word of hope and nourishes us with His Sacraments of Holy Baptism and communion. Being fed, we are equipped to practice compassion and justice, as we engage and train young and old in our core values to make a difference in the world - beginning at home and in the workplace.

  • Shine

Jesus said: "Let your light shine before others, so that thay may see your good works, and give glory to your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:16

We reflect the goodness and mercy of God by showing we are Christians by our various languages of love. We shine in love by acts of service, gift-giving, physical presence, quality time and words of affirmation.

  • Share

Saint Paul said, "Live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light." Colossians 1:10-12

We exist to encourage and quip people to be sent out into the world as everyday missionaries in our community; communicating the personal faith of Lord has blessed us with.
